Two major types of lymphocytes
There are two main forms of lymphocytes:
-B lymphocytes, also called B cells, are used to identify abnormal cells using their surface antigens. Progressive, these lymphocytes will mature and acquire new features including the production of antibodies that will be released in the event of pathogenic attacks.
-T lymphocytes, or T cells, will detect cells that have been infected by a pathogenic agent (virus, bacterium, fungus...) and destroy them.

B and T lymphocytes have close links and their modes of action are strongly interwoven since T lymphocytes, for example, May modulate B lymphocyte activity.
B or T cell lymphoma, what is it?
B or T lymphomas are classified as non-Hodgkin lymphomas, a group of about 30 different lymphomas, and the World Health Organization lists according to several criteria: the nature of the cancer cell ( B or T), the profile creates pathology, its clinical characteristics, its evolution... Epidemiologically, diffuse large-cell lymphoma B represents the most common lymphoma (30 – 35%) compared with 25 – 30% for follicular lymphoma (b-cells), while T-cell lymphoma remains much rarer.
